Happy Holidays Card by Holly // RAH Stamps Bits & Pieces: Winter + Holiday Ribbons Feature Week
Hi everyone.. It’s Holly here today and this week we are sharing projects made with the adorable Bits & Pieces: Winter and the Holiday Ribbons set. I created a card that could easily be mass-produced and you could mix it up with any of the fun images in this set.
I created a kraft card base and then I stamped the branch image randomly onto the front of the card with some white pigment ink. Then I repeated that same step with some brown pigment ink offsetting the image a little to create a shadow effect. I waited just a few minutes and then I repeated the same process using the berry image with some white and red pigment inks.
I stamped the sentiment from the Magic of the Season set in some VersaFine black pigment ink. The white ink will show through a little if you’re impatient like me and don’t wait. Give the inks a little time to dry or heat set it and then stamp in the black and you will be good to go.
I created my own custom ribbons to match the colors in the card using the Holiday Ribbons set. I used the same shades of pigment ink and stamp the images onto some white card stock and trimmed them out. I also added some gold sequins for a bit of sparkle.
