Live Life in Full Bloom Card by Nicole // Right at Home Spring Release

Hello spring! Well, kind of. If the weather where you are is anything like it is in MA then you have snow one day and then a couple days of 50 degree weather. Crazy. Luckily, I can make it feel like spring right my own craft room with the help of my Spring Release. Today, I'm sharing a card I made using one of my new stamps...and I think it will have you dreaming of spring!

For this card I used my Let Love Grow set to stamp some cute succulents in little colorful pots. I used various Hero Arts inks, which have quickly become some of my favorites again, to stamp three pots in a row. Just as a tip, make sure to really clean your stamp in between colors. You may be able to see that my blue post has a slightly green tinge to it. Oops.

For the center pot, I stamped the largest bloom and added some darker green dots around the petals. I love this little detail as it makes it look like a cactus! I stamped the other two pots with the smaller leaves and added some red dots at the base of them to act as little blooms. I wanted some more color so I knew I had to use some of the other elements that are included in the set.

Lastly, I white heat-embossed the sentiment which is from my Hoppy Easter set onto a light gray banner. I adhered this who panel to a blue scalloped rectangle and popped the panel onto a kraft card base that I stamped with a woodgrain background stamp. Then as a finishing touch I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. They have become my new favorite lately!

Overall, this card is perfect for sending a note to a friend to welcome the upcoming season. Plus, it's a great design to use to get some more mileage out of our favorite inks.

I hope you like my card!
