Hand-Stamped Happy Mail Envelopes by Brandi Kincaid

Happy Thursday!

Nicole here again to share another post by a fabulous guest designer. This time we have some adorable happy mail envelopes created by Brandi Kincaid. She is an incredible force in the crafty community so I'm sure you've heard of her before.

This post was originally published on her blog, but with her permission I am able to share it here. Now, take it away Brandi!

I had so much fun playing with the Happy Mail stamps sets from Right at Home that I had to pull myself away from my big yellow table so that something, anything else on my to-do list could get done.

I used the Happy MailHappy Mail Year 2, and Happy Mail Year 3 sets to make a stack of envelopes for all the cards I've been learning to make this year that have so far sat homeless on my desk.  Who knew making envelopes could be so fun and addictive?  I'm pretty it's these sets that made these projects so much fun.

I love using small stamps to make my own patterned paper of sorts, so I did just that to create some fun designs.  The fact that these sets have so many awesome buildable elements made it easy to add pops of color and dimension with ink, and I LOVE that.

Plus, the fact that I could punch out that little circle with my 2.5" punch easy-peasy? PERFECTION.

Those little envelopes slay me.

I'm such a sucker for lots of color on a white background, but I had a blue green envelope on the side of my table that was calling to me while I was making these envelopes, so I played with some little 1.5" stamped and punched white circles in side the simple black inked cirlce "frame" and I love how it turned out - different, but really fun.

Right when I told myself it was time to stop for the day, I remembered I needed an envelope for a little note I planned to slip into a friend's mailbox next week when I'll be close to her home, so I grabbed the flowers to make a simple, but colorful border, and made sure to use the adorable "not a bill" stamp to flag it as something good in her box (though I'm certain that most companies aren't using floral envelopes for their bills these days).

I'm so thankful to Nicole for sharing her awesome designs with me and encouraging me to play - I loved every minute, and I am already looking at which other stamps I need to add to my collection to make more envelopes!

Colorful Masked Anemones Hello Card by Amy K.

Hello!  Amy K. here with one more share using the new Anemone stamp set from Right at Home.  Since I still have loads of flowers blooming, I thought I'd create a colorful card of blooms using masking!

I started with a trimmed white panel and first stamped my orange anemone.  After creating a simple mask, I stamped both the pink and yellow anemones.  For the center orange anemone, I cut a separate image and added it over the panel with foam adhesive.  A simple "hello" from Script Greetings was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink over the pink anemone.  To finish a few sparkling clear confetti were added.  What I love about this card is that except for the one anemone, it is totally flat and easy to mail!

Now to say a bit about my stamped envelope.  I've used the new Happy Mail Year 3 stamp set to jazz up an otherwise plain white envelope.  Some personalization really adds another notch to a handmade card!

Have a wonderful day! Go send some Happy Mail!

Sunflower Brushstroke Alphabet Card + Matching Envelope by Laurie S.

Hi there! Laurie Schmidlin here with you today. I'm super excited to be sharing a card I created with the brand new Sunflower stamp set! This set is SO gorgeous and I couldn't wait to ink it up!

I started by die cutting the flowers and leaves using the coordinating Sunflower Die Set. I then stamped the flowers and leaves using my MISTI. This was definitely my favorite part of making this card. I love watching these sunflowers take shape after adding each different ink layer! The little detail images that Nicole included in this set really makes these images special and a lot of fun to stamp!

Nicole has a great instructional video on how to stamp these flowers as well as a downloadable instructional sheet.

For the sentiment, I stamped it in black using the Brushstroke Alphabet Uppercase and Brushstroke Alphabet Lowercase stamp sets. These are hands down my favorite alphabet stamps ever! They are SO easy to line up and the brush font is on point...I cannot get enough of them!

I couldn't help myself. I just had to decorate the envelope! I used a couple of the stamps from the brand new Happy Mail Year 3 stamp set.

So, are you as smitten with these new sets as I am? I just can't imagine anyone not smiling when getting a card in the mail with these cheerful flowers!

Thanks so much for joining me here today!
