Deck the Halls Wreath Tags by Nicole // 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017

It's almost Christmas, friends!

Which means that it's my favorite time of the year to craft. Holiday crafting is just the bestest. So when Tracey of In My Creative Opinion asked me to join her for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags this year I knew I had to say YES! Today I'm sharing with you a cute wreath tag using some basic shapes you may already have on hand. Let's get started!

I knew I wanted to create a wreath tag for a little gift jar, but I felt all the dies I had were too big...so I decided to get a little creative. I picked up the stitched circle from my Sweet Stitches Die Set and found that it was the perfect size! I punched a hole in the center to make it wreath and set about decorating it.

I added a white circle behind the opening with the greeting "Deck the Halls" stamped on it with black ink. Along the bottom I added a wreath die cut from my Seasonal Wreath Die Set. I just love the pop of red. To decorate the wreath even more, I added multiple drops of Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Drops in various sizes. They look like little lights!

To the backside of the tag I added another stitched circle cut from white cardstock. This time I stamped "Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and new year" and added the sub-sentiment "from all of us". I also made sure to color the back of my bow as it is seen on the back of the tag. I punched a hole in the top and tied it around a little jar filled with a sweet treat. It's the perfect little hostess gift if you ask me!

I hope you enjoyed today's project! I urge you to check out the different die sets you may have in your collection and brainstorm how to use them creatively. It helps stretch their use and longevity in your crafting!

Happy holidays!

Nicole

P.S. The jars were purchased from the Target Dollar Spot. Pack of three for $3. The mixes inside are from the Christmas candy section.
