Homemade Holidays Day #2 with Amy K. // Striped Kraft Treat Bag

Hello!  Amy K. here sharing a treat packaging idea that is easy to whip up!  I love to "re-package" some of my favorites in fun holiday packaging and give to some of those on my list such as my mail lady, school bus driver, and hair stylist.  I also slip in a gift card too!  Nicole sent the DT an amazing box of goodies for dressing up your gift giving!

I love this striped kraft bag with an acetate window that was in the box.......so perfect for packaging one of my favorites......original Hershey's Kisses.  To make this special, I wanted to make my own tag to attach to the top.  I used the adorable Holly Jolly Christmas stamps to stamp the Santa face with Memento Tuxedo Black onto the bottom of a stitched die cut rectangle.  Santa was Copic colored and the "to and from" were stamped at the top.

To dress up my box, I simply folded some of the red and white ribbon over the top and adhered.  I added a snippet of the wired greenery Nicole included in the box along with tiny gold jingle bells on some of the red/white baker's twine.  To finish this, I clipped everything to the top with a gold glittered clothespin and tucked in my stamped tag!  The tag adds a simple homemade touch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to check back tomorrow for another Homemade Holidays post!
