Right at Home Spring Release Blog Hop

Hi there!

I'm hopping on to share some exciting news...the Right at Home Stamps Spring Release is now available in the shop! These past few weeks have been quite hectic as I tried to pull everything together so I am so excited that the launch date is finally here.

As usual, I am holding a Blog Hop with the help of my fabulous design team members (as well as a special guest!) to bring you adorable card projects featuring the new stamps and embellishments. I know you will be dreaming of all things spring once you take a peek at what they create, so let's get started!

The three samples above feature the two clear stamps that I released this month: Hoppy Easter and Let Love Grow. For my post today I am going to be sharing the top card in more detail.

For my card I focused on using the Hoppy Easter set. I knew I wanted to create a one-layer type card so I knew I had to use masking in order to achieve that look. I started by stamping the grass twice and created a mask to cover it up. Next, I stamped the bunny in the center which, once the mask is removed, makes the bunny look like he is sitting in the grass. So cute!

I decided to stamp the eggs onto a separate piece of cardstock, trim them out, and glue them on top. It seemed like an unnecessary step to try to "mask" them into the scene. I colored everything using various Copic markers, and stamped my greeting from the same set next to my little scene.

I die-cut my whole piece with a stitched rectangle from a MFT Blueprint and trimmed off the bottom portion at an angle. Underneath, I adhered a piece of blue cardstock that I cut using a scallop die. Lastly, I popped up the whole panel onto a piece of green cardstock that I stamped using the MFT Circle Scribbles Background. Definitely a new fave! I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins and called it finished!

I hope liked my project. Now it's time to hop on to the next person in the hop which is Kymona. Make sure to click through everyone's post as there will be a special prize (or should I say "golden egg"?) for one lucky crafter.
