Beautiful CAS Card by Laurie W // Mixing up Card Base Color
Hey there, its Laurie here!
Stopping in today with a colorful, CAS card. My usual go to is a white card base....I do love all that white space...but today I was going for color. I was truly inspired by the blooms in Find the Beauty.
I lined up the card front in my MISTI and made sure I had a good layer of Versamark for the heat embossed sentiment. After I heat embossed once, I actually put it back in the MISTI and did a second layer of white heat embossing, just to get a nice solid look. I stamped the images and did a little fussy cutting for those adorable blooms. I added them, along with some rain drops, to the card front and then added the card front to the card base with some fun foam. I always go with white, so it was fun to add this to a darker blue card base for a different, but still CAS, look.
