1 | For the reader... // The Rainbow Comes and Goes by Anderson Cooper & Gloria Vanderbilt

A go-to gift idea of mine is to pick out a new book that may interest the recipient. In the past I've purchased books from Amy Poehler, Andy Cohen, Tina Fey, etc. For this year's recommendation, I decided to go with the newly release memoir by Anderson Cooper and his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt. I've been itching to pick this one up as I'm a huge fan of Anderson's (#silverfox) and would love to know more about his story and journey to where he is today. You can pick this book up in hardcover by clicking here.

2 | For the beach bum... // Lolita Straw Pineapple Tote

Two words: pineapple tote. I really don't think I need to say anything more than that, but because I love to chat I will. I mean isn't this the cutest tote bag for shuffling your beach essentials with you this summer?! I know any woman who loves spending time by the water would appreciate this adorable accessory. Bonus tip: Add in a new beach towel, a magazine, and some sunscreen to complete the gift! Purchase this tote on Francesca's.com.

3 | For the spa lover... // Shore Soap Company Bath Products

Last year around this time I took a to Newport, RI with my friend for a fun day by the water. While strolling down Thames Street we came across this adorable soap store that smelled of fresh flowers and salty waves. I immediately became infatuated with their products and picked up a few bars of their handmade soap for my family and a bottle of their liquid soap for our bathroom. Fast forward a year later and we are starting to run out! Luckily, they have an online shop that allows me to pick up my favorites and I thought it would be perfect for those of you who don't live locally to RI. Seriously, theirs soaps are the bomb...and super inexpensive at that. Shop their soaps here.

4 | For the health nut... // S'ip by Swell Stainless Steel Water Bottle (15oz)

On a recent Target trip I cam across a plethora of brightly colored, sleek water bottles. I knew I had to include it on this list as everyone loves a cute water bottle, but we can never justify spending the money on one ourselves. There are dozens of colors and a few patterns to chose from which may make the shopping a bit harder. See what I mean here.

5 | For the beauty queen... // Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Souffle

Besides papercrafting and stamping, my other obsession is makeup. Every night before I go to bed I watch a few makeup tutorials on YouTube by talented artists in the field. One of the products I've been seeing them use a lot lately are the Amuse Bouche lipsticks and, specifically, the color Souffle. From the swatches I've seen, it's the perfect baby pink for the upcoming spring season. It will sure add a fresh twist to your mom's makeup look! And just a little fun fact about the company Bite Beauty...it's called "bite" because their products are so natural that you could technically eat them. You know, just in case you get hungry. Pick this lipstick up here.

6 | For the fashionista... // Build Your Own Bangle Bracelet

If you're looking for a gift that's a little more personalized I would recommend this bracelet from the cute Etsy shop Tom Design. You can customize the bangle to say either "mom", "mommy", or any other nickname you may have for your mother. You can even add in a heart charm which further personalizes the gift and adds a special touch. She also offers a variety of fonts and finishes for the bracelet so she will most likely have something that you will love! Start designing your bangle here.

And that finishes up my 2016 Mother's Day Gift Guide! Do you see anything you think you or your mother would love to have? Pick up one (or all) of these gifts and you're sure to have a very happy Mother's Day!
