Hello Fall Pumpkin Spice Season Letterboard Card

Hello, November!

Can you believe October is already over?! I was still recovering from how fast September went and, poof, Octobers gone. Ugh, time flies.

Now that fall has officially arrived I decided to make a card inspired by the piles (and piles) of leaves that all around my neighborhood. And one of the sweet girls from Pumpkin Spice Season fit the theme perfectly.

Let’s get started…

To start off, I stamped the girl playing in leaves onto her coordinating die-cut in an alcohol-friendly ink. I used Momento Tuxedo Black. On a separate sheet of paper I stamped dozens of leaves from the set as I knew I would be layering on as much as possible. Next, I got to coloring in all my images using a variety of alcohol-based markers (colors listed at end of post)!

Once I was finished coloring I moved onto my background. I stamped a piece of white A2 sized cardstock with my Woodgrain Background Stamp in a green ink. This time I used My Favorite Things Hyrbid Ink in Factory Green. I wanted to use Catherine Pooler’s Green Tea, but I desperately need to re-ink it! I die-cut that panel using the largest stitched rectangle from my Find the Beauty Die Set.

I also ran through the letterboard from my Letterboard Love Die Set, using some kraft and gray cardstock, and the “hello fall” which is actually included in the Pumpkin Spice Season Die Set. I assembled the letterboard using foam tape on the back and adhered everything on top using both dimensional adhesive and tape runner adhesive.

On this card I really wanted the coloring to be the main focal point which is so, so different for me! But, I think this card turned out adorable.

Letterboard Love Die Set Valentines Gift Cards

Hey, hey!

Whose been enjoying my little Valentines post series this week so far? It's been fun crafting away with all things red, pink and white on every project. Definitely gets you ready for the upcoming holiday! Today I'm sharing a card made with the Letterboard Love Die Set that features a little surprise inside...

Let's get started...

I wanted to use the two alphabets included in this die set to their fullest potential so I tried to come up with a phrase that would utilize both. I came up with the following...

I love you more than (insert item HERE)

From there I thought it would be cute to have something on the inside that coordinated with the sentiment and, considering the size of the card, a gift card was the perfect solution!

I die-cut my frame from kraft cardstock and the inner piece from a bright pink. Oh how I wish letterboards actually came in this color. Then I die-cut a ton of letters so I could spell out my phrase. I arranged them on my board and glued with a liquid adhesive. Along the top of the board I had a little too much space so I decided to create a little heart banner using some extra die-cuts and a piece of twine. Super cute!

On the inside I taped in a gift card that perfectly matched the sentiment. Fingers crossed the recipient shares their fries with you!

I hope you like today's project! There's so many possibilities of phrases you can come with so definitely get creative if you happened to pick up this set.

I plan to make more of these but with coffee gift cards instead because of course, right?!

Let me know what you love your loved one more than in the comments below!
