Three Poinsettia Cards by Amy K // RAH Stamps Christmas Foliage Feature Week

Hi Right at Home friends!  Amy K. here with a trio of cards using ONE stamp set from the Holiday Release...Christmas Foliage.  I could not stop creating with this set!  If there is one set to have this season, it's this one!  Take a peek at all my cards using this set...

The first card I created uses watercolor and white heat embossing for my images.  I've embossed them on Tim Holtz watercolor paper and used my Gansai Tambi watercolors.  A sentiment (from Magic of the Season) was white heat embossed onto a strip of vellum and attached behind my panel.  This panel was then adhered with foam adhesive making it very easy to mail!

The second card uses the pinecones and branches.  To add some texture to this card, I layered my circle focal point onto a piece of cardstock that done with a woodgrain embossing folder.  For my sentiment, I love this smaller Peace.Love.Joy sentiment so I've stamped and added 2 to my panel offsetting them for interest.  As a last detail, I added clear Wink of Stella to the pinecones.

My final card uses more of the branches and some white heat embossed poinsettias that were watercolored with Distress Inks.  Several layers of Candied Apple Distress Ink was done to create my poinsettias.  The poinsettias were hand trimmed out (but there are coordinating dies).  I created a wreath using the branches and layered my poinsettias over the top pulling the leaves outward for dimension.  The smaller poinsettia was adhered with foam adhesive.  My sentiment was stamped to fit in the lower right corner of my poinsettia trio.  To make my panel really pop, I layered it with a small thin black mat of cardstock and then the whole panel was adhered using foam adhesive.  To bring out the gold centers of the poinsettias, I added gold glitter enamel dots.

Thanks so much for sharing a part of your day with me!
