Good morning! I hope your weekend was awesome and afforded you some crafty time! :)
I'm back today sharing a few more cards I created with the latest Right at Home release! I hope you've had a chance to check out the whole release, and if not, hop on over to do so HERE! FAN-tastic! :)
All of these cards are made with the super easy to use Anemone set! It's a lovely set that can be used in quite a variety of ways. This first card, is one of my favorites! I really enjoy how simply this set can be used to make a sweet card!
For this card, I masked off a scalloped circle and then simply used a ombre ink pad to stamp the one solid flower image multiple times. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Make Something Beautiful set and trimmed to fit. I stitched the panel to some orange cardstock, added some hemp twine, and adhered everything with dimensional foam adhesive. Sunshine! :)
Keeping things super easy, you could probably have a set of four-six cards in 30 minutes. I'm all about easy sometimes, and this set makes a quick impact.Or if you find yourself with more crafty time, take it up a notch and add a few more details, like I did with these below!
I kept the overall design the same, but changed up the colors and sentiments. I used a white pigment ink pad and different colored dye ink pads for these. To finish them off, I added some stitches, sequins, and colored in the Color In Sentiments (go figure!) with Prismacolor pencils.
The kraft cardstock added a warm feel to all these, and easily mixes up the way to use your stamps!
For this next card, I used various shades of inks to create the Anemones with the layering technique. I decided to line up some of my flowers exactly with the layering stamps and slightly offset some too. I like how it came together and on the pale gray cardstock.
I'm not normally a purple person, but these flowers call for it. ;)
I inked the previously released RAH set, Make Something Beautiful for a few of these cards. Love these sentiments for crafty friends!
Start your week happy by checking out all of the new Right at Home release!
Sending another big crafty thank you to Nicole, for having me along for the fun! And thank YOU for joining me here on RAH blog again today. :)
Have an awesome week!
