Right at Home Stamps One Year Celebration Blog Hop
H O O R A Y! Today's the day we've all been waiting for...it's my One Year Celebration Blog Hop! One year ago I embarked on this stamp-making journey with no clue as to what I was in store for. I've worked tirelessly to bring this dream of mine (which I've had since I was 14!) to life and I'm so thankful to everyone who has supported me along the way. To celebrate this milestone my Design Team and I, along with a few guests, put together a Blog Hop featuring the stamp set that started it all, Happy Mail.
I released a second edition of this stamp and fittingly called it Happy Mail Year 2. I hope to continue this tradition every year! For today's hop I asked my Design Team to incorporate both stamps into their projects. I can't wait for you to see what we all came up with.
For my card I started with the idea of an envelope banner. Between both sets there are a few different styles of envelopes to choose from but I decided to go with the largest one. I stamped it in a few bright colors and trimmed them out. I used the dotted string from my Banner Alphabet Add-On set to create a curved line for the envelopes to sit. For the greeting I chose the "happy mail, happy friend" from the Happy Mail Year 2 set. I also added in a few clouds which are also on the add-on set.
I'm not one to leave my envelopes bare so I knew I had to come up with something to decorate the flap. I die-cut a circle out of some sticker paper and stamped my seal from the Happy Mail set in the center. I also added another envelope in the center. Lastly, I stamped the "hug enclosed" label on the sticker paper as well, trimmed it out, and adhered it across the bottom. I think it looks pretty cute!
