Right at Home x My Sweet Petunia MISTI Blog Hop
Hello sweet sunflowers and petunias!
I'm excited to be with you today as my design team and I are hosting a blog hop in collaboration with My Sweet Petunia. Both our design teams are using various stamps from Right at Home in combination with their MISTI's.
There's over a dozen crafters participating in today's hop so let's get started!
For my card I was inspired by all the sunflower fields I've visited throughout the summer. Those that follow along with me on Instagram know what I'm talking about.
I used my new Sunflower set and the coordinating die to create three large sunflowers, five small leaves, and three stems. I used various inks from My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, and Simon Says Stamp for each layer.
The background of my card was created on Bristol Smooth cardstock with the My Favorite Things Mini Clouds stencil and the Distress Oxide ink in Cracked Pistachio. I am in love with the design this stencil creates. So realistic and looks like patterned paper. Along the bottom I added some Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink to act as the grass.
I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from a not-yet-released Right at Home stamp. Stay tuned for that coming very soon! I added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow and the card is finished!
You can watch my full process in the video below.
I hope you enjoyed today's card and are ready to head out on the rest of your hop. Your next stop is Ilina Crouse. Here's the entire link list as well if you get lost:

Myself and My Sweet Petunia are also holding a giveaway in celebration of today's hop. We will draw two winners from all the comments on the hop, so make sure to leave a comment on every blog post along the hop. Prizes include an Original or Mini MISTI of the winner's choice, and a prize package from Right at Home including the Sunflower set, Harvest Blessings set, and the two Distress Oxide inks used in today's card. Deadline for comments is September 8th at noon CST, and winners will be posted on the My Sweet Petunia and Right at Home blogs on Tuesday September 12th.
Happy hopping!

Stamp layering flowers made simple. Start with the outermost layer, the leaves, and build up from there. Use a different ink color for each layer to create lots of depth and dimension. Finish off each flower with the veins of both the petals and leaves. Combine with the coordinating dies to create an even more layered look.
