Sunflower So Very Blessed Card + Matching Envelope by May Park
Hi, crafty friends!
It’s May here from Mayholic Design. Today I’m so excited to be guest designing for the Right at Home blog, sharing a fun thank you card that I created with Sunflower and Script Greetings.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Script Greetings stamp set with black ink on A2 sized white cardstock. Next, I created my own stamped background by stamping the sunflower images on A2 sized white cardstock. FYI, I haven’t stamped two detail layers on the center of each sunflower.
Then I filled in the gaps with some tiny dots using the Copic Marker: E31 Brick Beige. If you are looking for an easy way to dress up your stamped background, the dotting technique will give your card more unique finished look. Small details make a big difference!
I also created a matching envelope. After I stamped the sentiment from the Script Greetings stamp set with watermark ink on the flap of my envelope, I heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder.
You can watch my full process in the video below.
That’s all for today. I hope my inspired you to create something fun today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Stamp layering flowers made simple. Start with the outermost layer, the leaves, and build up from there. Use a different ink color for each layer to create lots of depth and dimension. Finish off each flower with the veins of both the petals and leaves. Combine with the coordinating dies to create an even more layered look.
