National Craft Month Celebration RECAP + Giveaway Winner!

Happy Monday, friend!

I wanted to pop on to the blog today to share a quick recap of our National Craft Month Celebration and the winner of our special giveaway.

Day 1: Get THE MOST from your Stenciled Backgrounds!

On the first day of our celebration, I shared a few ways to creatively cut apart your stenciled backgrounds in order to create multiple card projects from them. If you cringe at the thought of cutting apart your backgrounds (and I don’t blame you…), this is the perfect post to check out. There’s no unusable pieces in my book. Everything can be put to use with just a little creativity!

Day #2: STRETCH the Use of your Seasonal Stamps!

On the second day of our celebration, I took one of our best selling stamp sets, Cozy Cardinal, and adapted the images to work for a spring card! When we can get more mileage out of our seasonal products, it just makes them even more valuable in our collection. Check out this post if you’d like to see this tweet bird come to life!

Day #3: Using a GEL PRESS for Cardmaking!

And for the final day of our celebration, I pushed myself outside my crafty comfort zone and tried a Gel Press for cardmaking! Now, I’m not typically an inky crafter but I made the exception to try out the gel press to see if I could make it work for my style of cardmaking. And - spoiler! - I love the results! If you haven’t tried gel printing before or are just looking for a fun new technique to try, then I recommend reading this post! Plus, it’s another instance where I used the elements on multiple card projects!

Giveaway Winner!

And now for the part you’ve been waiting for…the winner of the $50 store credit to the shop. I’m happy to announce that Cynthia E. is our winner! Congratulations Cynthia!

If you participated in on our celebration in any way, I want to thank you for joining! It was a blast and I truly hope you were able to learn something new or were inspired to get crafty.
