Merry Christmas Cozy Cardinal Card by Katie G.
Hello! Katie here today to share with you a card using the Cozy Cardinal and Peace Love Joy stamp sets.
First I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a panel of watercolor cardstock. I sprayed the panel with water to lift up some of the ink pigment and blotted the panel dry with paper towels. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Peace Love Joy stamp set onto the background with black ink.
With the help of my MISTI, I pieced together the bird from the Cozy Cardinal stamp set. After stamping, I die-cut both the bird and the branch using the coordinating Cozy Cardinal Die Set. I wrapped a piece of white ric-rac around the neck of the bird as a scarf. As a finishing touch, I adhered some tiny clear sequins to the card and added a twine bow.
I think this Cozy Cardinal looks all set for the upcoming winter holidays!
